I leveled up the team, promoting 6 members to senior, principal and manger roles while demonstrating design’s impact to the business, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and improving execution from idea-to-impact.

At this home services SaaS brand, as Director of Customer Experience, I transformed the design culture and elevated product prioritization and decision making by integrating qualitative data practices. I increased team velocity by integrating design into the agile process of the organization, and partnering with executive leadership to define a new product vision and strategy which helped position for IPO in 2020.

Microsoft

As UX Manager and then Sr Design Manager, I grew a local team of 5 to a globally distributed team of 14, promoting multiple designers. Together we helped grow the Lync product to a $1B business, rebrand Lync to Skype for Business (now Teams), and re-design the Apple desktop product in a record 6 months growing retention and engagement metrics.

My Why

A deep empathy, curiosity and passion for creating innovative solutions to problems, working collaboratively across functions, and developing teams and individuals’ careers. Art and music are in my DNA and I’ve always loved connecting with people through creativity and intentionally designed experiences.
